It's been a month since I posted about the Roof Top Garden. Here are the vegetables that have appeared in the garden. Almost all of the cherry tomato plants have fruited.
I've seen several cucumbers growing and this one was harvested and made into cucumber tomato salad at one of the garden lunch and learn session.
The pole beans are growing wild and are climbing all over the garden. Next to the tomato plant, this has been one of the best "harvester".
There were also many bell peppers. I wish they'd leave this one growing as I am told that if you leave green bell peppers on the plant, it will turn red. I suppose it is similar to the red chili peppers.
There were about a dozen of these large tomatoes growing on the plant. They were harvested just prior to hurricane Iselle in fear of damage.
The Kale got full enough for harvesting.
I finally found a small squash growing.. hope this will become full grown in a few weeks.. stay tuned..

So totally awesome !!!
I think it is wonderful that HMSA is doing this. Great capture and narrative of the Educating Garden. Looking forward to more.
I agree with both Dd and Celia!
Wow, they grew so fast! It must be your watering skills. Good job.
