Friday night, around 8:45pm, loud booms of fireworks bursted over Waikiki Beach. I grabbed my camera and and tripod and ran to my fire escape. I had the wrong lens, the 70-200mm, and it took me what seemed like forever to get the tripod set up. I ended up leaving the tripod and placing my camera on the ledge to shoot these. Good thing I remembered how to get the Bulb Setting. In the mad rush, I forgot about manual focusing, but at least I got some non blurry shots. The fireworks lasted for almost 1/2 hour! It turned out to be a celebration for Royal Costmetics Co. Ltd's 20th anniversary.
