Pan Pacific Festival Parade 6/13/2010

After spending two days watching the entertainment, the finale of the Pan Pacfic Festival is the Parade. I tried to take different angles w/ the wide angle lens.
This street dancer stopped to perform right in front of us.
He twirled this large flag effortlessly. It looked so cool.
This is what we call the cockroach view of the parade. :-)
I had just seen her and her steel drum group perform earlier in the day.
Hey, I think I've him on this year's Pan Pacific Festival performance schedule leaflet.
The final float was this huge lantern tower.

Very, very nice shots! I love the variety. Your first shot of the shrine is great, super neat angle.

Great colors and yes the different angles are too cool! Wow you got the street dancer. Hee hee, I see myself in the shot with the lady in the black and white kimono with McDonald's in the back.

I forgot to mention - check out the muscles that the flag man has. It really takes muscles to swing that flag around.

Yes, great camera angles. It keeps the shots from getting boring. The first shot is great, good focus too and you got all of the girl in the pink pants. Great job!
